Syllabus

This course consists of following Five Pre-Recorded Videos:

Chapter 1: Say Hello to Ventriloquism:

Users will learn the history of this art, and get introduced to the art of Ventriloquism. And how this art is fun to learn.

Chapter 2: Strengthening Your Voice:

Ventriloquists need to be an actor first – Hence for every actor clear speech is very important. Users will be able to learn how to produce clear speech, certain speech exercises and learn the technique for Correct Breathing which is a basis to the Ventriloquial Voice.

Chapter 3: Producing a Ventriloquial Voice:

The audience will learn how to develop a vent voice which is different than theirs, breath control and how to throw their voice. The audience will learn how to speak without moving their lips, the perfect mouth position, the ventriloquism alphabet and how to control facial movements.

Chapter 4: The Sound of Silence:

The audience will learn how to substitute sounds and how to pronounce labials to make performing easier. This is the real secret to Ventriloquism.

Chapter 5: Lights, Camera, Action :

Users will learn how to make a simple socks puppet, give a character to the puppet and choose an appropriate voice, They will also learn the basics of animating their puppet. The session will end with a note on how to develop this skill as a hobby, and some basic techniques that can be easily performed in front of family & friends.
